They said, "to make sure we are getting all the leaks we will need to steam clean the engine because it is covered in oil." I declined the cleaning because the car only needed to last another 3 weeks, and the shop said the gasket replacement would solve the major leak I saw. And said the car needs to last another 3-4 weeks so nothing needs fixed unless it will lead to the car exploding, crashing, or dying before then." Based on my description, and I assumed their visual inspection of where it leaks when you add oil, they said that the leak is coming from the valvecover gasket and they would replace it.
I brought my car in to the shop, "with a major oil leak I could actually see happening every time I added oil, leaking badly right below the oil intake hole. I also may add an amendment to this review, I was hoping to include the answer to my emailed question regarding the work performed. I want to start by saying my car was worked upon in a timely fashion, but I am very disappointed by the final result.
